Chunky Monkey Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare Bananas: Peel the ripe bananas, slice them, and place the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the banana slices until firm, about 2 hours or overnight.

Blend Ingredients: Once the banana slices are frozen, transfer them to a blender or food processor. Add the plain Greek yogurt, chocolate protein powder, and unsweetened cocoa powder to the blender.

Blend Until Smooth: Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor a few times to ensure everything is well combined.

Add Toppings: Once the mixture is smooth, add in the chopped walnuts and dark chocolate chips if desired. Pulse the blender a few times to mix in the toppings evenly.

Serve or Freeze: You can serve the Chunky Monkey Protein Ice Cream immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer it to a container and freeze it for about 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.
