It’s completely normal, and acceptable, to base an entire meal around a sauce. It’s okay for food to solely be a vehicle for them, too (Chicken McNuggets?). These are 7 of my favorite sauces; use them to dip, spread, smother, whatever your style may be.

I can count on a single hand the number of times I’ve actually measured out a sauce recipe. They turn out a little different every time, and I’m actually really into that. I’ve listed my go-to ingredients for each one, in order of amount generally used. They’re versatile enough to add or remove whatever you have on hand or have a taste for. And they take just minutes to make, so use an extra second to get them just the way you want.

Approx. Points: ~2 WW points per serving (may vary slightly by plan)

Ingredients
• 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
• 1 large egg
• 3 tbsp plain non-fat Greek yogurt
• ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (use whole wheat or reduced-fat if possible)
• 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp paprika
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• Cooking spray

Optional Low-Point Dipping Sauce
• ¼ cup light mayo
• 1 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tsp mustard
• ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk egg and Greek yogurt together.
  3. In another bowl mix panko, parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg mixture, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with the dipping sauce.

💡 Tips for Extra Crispiness
• Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
• Lightly spray the cauliflower before cooking.
• Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
Enjoy🙌🏼
