Apple cinnamon Dump Cake
3 Points Serves 15 This Apple cinnamon Dump Cake is three weight watchers points per serving! Most dump cake recipes follow a certain formula: Spoon canned pie filling into a casserole dish, sprinkle on dry cake mix, top with lots of melted butter, and bake. For our apple dump cake, we wanted to spotlight fresh apples for their sweet-tart flavor and tender-but-not-mushy texture. We still use boxed cake mix for convenience, but we combine it with a little applesauce and apple cider to amp up the fruity goodness. The finished dessert is like a cross between a snack cake and a cobbler.
