You only need three ingredients to make this creamy and refreshing dessert. Make sure to completely freeze the bananas and strawberries so that they blend to the right consistency.

Ingredients

Banana – 2 large, ripe

Unsweetened frozen strawberries- 1½ cup(s), sliced

Vanilla extract – ½ tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the bananas into 1-inch chunks and place in a large zip-close plastic freezer bag. Seal and freeze until frozen solid, 2–3 hours.
  2. Place the frozen bananas and strawberries in a food processor; puree, scraping down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Add the vanilla extract and pulse to combine. Serve immediately or, for firmer texture, transfer to a container and freeze until ready to serve; allow to soften about 10 minutes at room temperature. Serve garnished with a few fresh berries and mint sprigs, if desired.
  3. Serving: about 1/2 cup
