Irresistible Grilled Tuna Steaks Perfect for Any Cookout

Enjoy these delicious and easy-to-make tuna steaks marinated in citrus and Old Bay seasoning, ideal for your next BBQ.

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients 

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 pound tuna steak
  • 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions 

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, lime juice, and lemon juice.
  • Using a wire whisk, mix well.
  • Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish.
  • Pour the marinade over the tuna steaks and turn them occasionally to coat evenly.
  • Let the tuna marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill until it’s hot.
  • Place the tuna steaks on the hottest part of the grill and sear for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  • Move the tuna steaks slightly away from the hottest area of the grill and cook for 8 to 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
  • If desired, squeeze fresh lemon over the tuna before serving.
