Ingredients:
- 10 oz (300 g) lean ground turkey or chicken sausage (93–99% lean)
- 4 oz light cream cheese
- 1 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar (or light mozzarella)
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or low-fat milk
- ⅓ cup light beer
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Optional: pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Cook the sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the lean sausage until fully browned. Drain any excess liquid if needed. - Add cream cheese
Lower the heat and stir in the light cream cheese until melted and combined. - Pour in liquids
Add the beer and milk. Stir continuously over low heat until smooth. - Add shredded cheese & seasoning
Mix in the reduced-fat cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and optional spice. Stir until melted and creamy. - Serve warm
Transfer to a small baking dish or slow cooker to keep warm.
