Ingredients

  • 1 sheet reduced-fat crescent roll dough
  • 2½ cups cooked skinless chicken breast, shredded
  • ¾ cup light Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz fat-free cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg white (for egg wash, optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, light Swiss cheese, fat-free cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and parsley until well mixed.
  3. Arrange the crescent dough triangles in a circle on the baking tray, overlapping the wide ends to form a ring and leaving an opening in the center.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly around the wide ends of the dough.
  5. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck them underneath to secure the ring.
  6. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into 8 servings.
