Weight Watchers Double-Almond Iced Coffee – 2 point

There’s no need to drive to the coffee shop for an iced coffee treat. Those are often heavy with syrups, loaded with added sugar. In just a few short minutes, you can whip up a satisfying drink yourself that contains just one teaspoon of added sugar—brown sugar for caramel-like richness. A little splash of almond extract enhances the sweetness and deepens the almond flavor. Be careful not to use too much; almond extract can easily overwhelm if you use too much.

1 Tbsp

Unpacked brown sugar

1 tsp

Plain unsweetened almond milk

Almond extract

  1. In a glass measuring cup, combine water, espresso, and sugar. Microwave on High until warm, 15 to 20 seconds. Stir until espresso and sugar dissolve. Stir in almond milk and almond extract. Pour into an ice-filled glass.
  2. Serving size: 1 cup (without ice)
