Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 1 lb (≈450 g) country-style pork ribs, boneless or small pieces
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (≈25–30 g)
- 1 tbsp butter (≈14 g) or a low-calorie butter substitute / cooking spray
- 2–3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Optional seasonings: garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, chili flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Cut ribs into smaller pieces for faster, even cooking.
- Mix brown sugar and butter (or substitute) in a small bowl. Rub lightly over the pork ribs.
- Drizzle apple cider vinegar over the ribs and sprinkle with your preferred seasonings.
- Place ribs on a baking sheet and cover loosely with foil.
- Bake for 45–60 minutes, until tender. Remove foil during the last 10 minutes for caramelization.
- Serve hot with steamed vegetables or a light salad for a complete low-point meal.
WW Points Estimate:
- Pork (1 lb) → ~9 points
- Brown sugar (2 tbsp) → ~8 points
- Butter (1 tbsp) → ~3 points
Total: ~20 points → ~5 points per serving (4 servings)
If you want, I can also make a slightly “sticky & sweet” glaze version that tastes more like traditional country ribs but still keeps it 4–5 points per serving.
