PEANUT BUTTER DIP INGREDIENTS
- Greek yogurt: Go for a full fat so you get a rich and creamy dip. Plain or vanilla are perfect for this. I would not recommend swapping for regular yogurt as it isn’t quite as thick and the texture won’t be the same.
- Peanut butter: Creamy peanut butter will blend the best. Go for unsweetened and use the honey to sweeten to taste. You can swap for almond butter, or even sunflower butter for a school safe snack.
- Honey: Swap for pure maple syrup if you prefer. You may need to add more or less honey based on how sweet you like things.
- Cinnamon: This is optional, but I like it, so here it is as an ingredient in the peanut butter dip recipe.
My kids love this peanut butter dip, and honestly, I get it because I have a hard time not eating it off the spoon myself. It’s simple, it actually tastes good, and it only takes a few minutes to stir together. It’s just a quick mix of Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey, and a little cinnamon, and somehow that’s enough to make apple slices way more exciting.
I usually put peanut butter dip out as part of an after-school snack tray with red and green apples, but it works just as well when you need something easy to throw together in the middle of the day. It takes a few minutes, it’s got 10g of protein per serving, and keeps the kiddos full until dinner!.
