6 weight watchers points per hefty sized serving ! ( really baked carb nada fusilli lol) Big portions too! This recipe came out to 6 pts for 6 large servings, if it were 8 servings it would have been 4 pts.


  • Al Dente Carba-Nada Fusilli Pasta Dry
  • 12 oz dry, dry (20 points)
  • Great Value Fat Free Small Curd
  • Cottage Cheese 15 oz
  • Bella Rosa Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup s 5 points
  • Great Value Tomatoes Whole 28 oz
  • SE Grocers Reduced fat mozzarella
  • 1 cup s (10 points)
  • Italian seasoning 2 Tbsp
  • Basil 8 leaf/leaves Reserve a few to chop fresh on finished “ziti”


  1. 1 Boil pasta 8 minutes in salted water.
  2. 2 Heat oven to 375, warm tomato sauce in a pot on medium adding Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and chopped basil leaves
  3. 3 Use an immersion blender or regular blender to combine cottage cheese and Parmesan and Italian seasoning, salt and pepper
  4. 4 Transfer pasta and sauce to a 13×9 baking dish and mix well. Dollop cottage cheese mix all over and gently combine with pasta and sauce. Top with mozzarella and bake for 20-30 min.
  5. 5 Cool for 15 minutes before serving. Top with additional fresh chopped Basil if desired.

Recipe Notes

Depending on size of portions.. if you divide into 6 they will be large portions and 6 pts each. serving. If you make 8 servings it’s 4 pts each and they will be on the smaller side. Also, I reserved some of the sauce to put on top of the finished “ziti”. * I used a can of plain tomato sauce but it scanned as above.
