This is basically 1 point for the whole dish as 2 tbsp of marsala is one point on weight watchers! All the other ingredients are zero points!
Instructions
- Super simple to make; slice onions, not too thin. Wipe dirt off of mushrooms with a damp paper towel and slice them.
- In a large pan, add some cooking spray , season with salt and freshly ground pepper and sauté onions until caramelized. Take the time to do that as it adds a wonderful depth of flavor.
- In another pan add a little cooking spray, season mushrooms with garlic powder, salt and freshly ground pepper and sauté the mushrooms until barely tender. Then add mushrooms back into the onions, raise heat, add some marsala wine, you want that sizzle when you add the wine, then taste for seasoning.
- I added some fresh chopped parsley and some freshly squeezed lemon juice for brightness, and simmered a touch more.
