I think I came up with the holy grail of tuna sandwich cheats!! I just replaced mayo with cottage cheese and omg!!! It’s sooooo good!!!
1 serving of tuna 80 calories, 18g protein
1 serving cottage cheese 110 calories, 13g protein
Dill relish 0 calories 0g protein
Stone ground mustard 5 calories, 0g protein
ALSO! Listen, I understand that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I only eat fish and chicken so I gotta find something because I love a good tuna sandwich! I also understand that I more than likely did not invent this so I’m not taking credit for it, I just have never seen anyone else do it before.
I’m new to dieting and also live on low income so I’m just trying to find ways to be healthier that 1) I enjoy and 2) work for my budget
I know it’s not perfect but it’s a step in the right direction!!
Oh and yes I normally do add egg to my tuna salad but this go around I didn’t have any ready
