Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 large orange, zest and juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp ground cumin (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the orange zest, orange juice, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and cumin.
- Add the chicken cubes and toss until well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto soaked wooden skewers or metal skewers.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the chicken is golden and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
