3-INGREDIENT PAN-FRIED HALLOUMI

This 3-Ingredient Pan-Fried Halloumi is one of those recipes I come back to over and over again, especially on evenings when the fridge looks empty but I still want something warm, satisfying, and a little indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 225 g 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced into 1 cm (½-inch) thick pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepperto taste

Instructions

  • Heat a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  • Once hot, place the halloumi slices in a single layer.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  • Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with black pepper.
  • Serve immediately while hot.
